As women, we maintain a 1 in 8 lifetime risk of breast cancer. Breast cancer screening by mammogram has been consistenly shown to improve early detection, and to decrease mortality from breast cancer. Use the month of October as a reminder of the importance of breast cancer awareness for yourself, friends, and family. Mammograms are recommended every 1-2 years for women 40 yo or older.
Our Eastside Gynecology Obstetrics practice offers on-site Mammograms. Call -or go online- to schedule your appointment :)
